·         Active Duty Personnel: You will be interacting very closely with active duty personnel.  All active duty personnel, enlisted and officers, are senior to you.  Proper respect will be rendered.  Forms of address will be made per regulations (i.e.: LT Smith, Chief Petty Officer Brown, Chief Johnson) Ensure you are well aware of rank recognition.  Interacting with active duty personnel after training hours is limited to conversation in a public place.  No cadet will visit an active duty person’s room or barracks or automobile, and no active duty personnel will visit a cadet’s room.

·         Civilian Clothes and Personal Items: If shorts are worn, they will be of walking length for males and females.  The CO has the final word as to what is, and what is not, appropriate civilian clothing.  Females will bring one-piece bathing suits.   Do not bring “boom” boxes.  Not everyone likes your taste in music.

·         Enjoy your training and have fun: NSCC adult escorts will be here to help you succeed and have fun. Their primary duty is to ensure your safety and take care of any concerns or questions you may have.

I certify that I have read and understand the above regulations for Basic Airman Training 2005.
